Museums

GEM is the museum for contemporary art and open from Tuesdays to Sundays
The Mauritshuis is famous for its collection of Dutch masters from the 17th Century.
The Panorama Mesdag is the oldest 19th Century panorama still in its own site.

Movie theaters

The Filmhuis has a great program of alternative and non blockbuster films.

There are three Pathe movie theatres around the city, Buitenhof, Scheveningen and Spuimarkt showing a combination of big release and alternative movies.

The Hague also has its own IMAX theatre Omniversum

Attractions

Just outside the Hague is Corpus , an interactive museum, where you can journey through the human body and learn more about what makes us tick!.

During the summer Duinrell amusement park is always fun for kids as well as a trip to Madurodam where you can see Holland in miniature.

Horse Riding on the Beach

Stalhouderij Het Fjordenpaard organize beach rides every Friday and Sunday from March 1 to November 1 at all levels. Visit their website for more details.
