Welcome to The Hague Guide

The Hague is the political capital of the Netherlands and consequently a very multi national city. Due to the number of embassies and large corporate headquarters here you will find people from every corner of the globe.

The city is a nice size and easy to get around. It has something for everyone including great museums and places to relax and enjoy a sunny afternoon on a terrace. The Denneweg and Frederikstraat are the up-market streets with lots of unique shops, cafes and restaurants. The city also has a bustling shopping area with a Bijenkorf, V&D and other large chain stores.

Architecturally the city is also quite diverse with a modern skyline downtown mixed with some beautiful traditional buildings. There is a lot to explore and it is a great city to walk around.
